EDUCATIVE CENTER GOVEDARICA - RISTIC

The Govedarica-Ristić Educational Center is located at Gospodar Jovanova 44, in the Stari Grad municipality.

We are involved in:

• Prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of children with developmental, learning, emotional, and behavioral difficulties
• Early development stimulation (ages 0-3)
• Skill practice and school readiness preparation
• Treatment of specific learning, reading, writing, and arithmetic difficulties
• Stimulation and rehabilitation of speech and language development
• Correction of speech sound errors
• Stuttering therapy
• Providing professional assistance to parents

We also perform:

• Diagnostic assessments
• Speech and language development assessments
• Functional developmental level assessments
• Development and implementation of individual stimulation or corrective work plans with quarterly monitoring
• Advisory and instructional work

We nurture a holistic approach to the development and personality of the child and the preservation of their mental health!

In our work, we use:

• SIAT (Sensory Integration Therapy by Jean Ayres) for better reception and processing of information
• Psychomotor reeducation (movement therapy) for better understanding and cognition
• Elements of DIR/Floortime for improved communication and mastery of developmental levels
• Speech therapy for the development of speech and language
• Counseling for parents regarding child upbringing
