The Nature museum in Belgrade was founded in 1895 as "Jestastvenicki museum of the Serbian country". The museum was originally housed in the Foundation home of Stevca Mihajlovic in Vracar and the first exhibition was held in 1904 in Belgrade in the presence of King Petar I and officials.
