The Nikola Tesla museum in Belgrade was opened to public on 20th October 1955 and was the first museum of technology in Yugoslavia.

The Nikola Tesla museum is the only museum that keeps Nikola Tesla's personal and original posessions. It has over 160.000 original documents, over 2000 books and magazines, over 1200 historical and technological exhibition articles and over 1000 plans and drawings.
