The Ethnographic Mueseum has changed its location several times - it was housed in the home of Stevca Mahajlovic located in the corner of Kneza Milosa and Bircaninova streets, then in the building in the corner of Njegoseva and Kneginja Zorka streets. As of 1951 the museum moves into the building in the corner of the streets Studentski square and Uzun Mirkova, which was originally constructed for the needs of Belgrade's stock market.
