The oldest school in Belgrade is located at 7 Kralja Petra street and it began work in 1718. Over time it has changed names and went through turbulent times, but it stayed and remained the first and oldest school. It was here that Ivan Mestrovic sculpted the Victor, Belgrade's iconic monument and in 1923 the first basketball game in Belgrade was played in their court.
