Acupuncture is a part of ancient Chinese traditional medicine that simultaneously affects both the physical and mental health of a person.
It reduces the sensation of pain, relaxes muscles, improves circulation and breathing, regulates appetite, digestion, hormone levels, and sleep, and has calming and antidepressant effects.
One of the very important effects is the increase in immunity, as well as the overall psychological and physical resilience. The duration of treatment, frequency, and number of sessions depend on the type of illness, the duration, and the severity of symptoms. Most often, the therapeutic process is carried out in a series of about 10 sessions, and if necessary, the cycle is repeated after 1-2 months.
Treatments are generally conducted daily, two to three times a week, and in exceptional cases, multiple times a day. An individual treatment regimen is determined for each patient.
In the specialist office, in addition to classical acupuncture with needles, laser acupuncture, magnets, intradermal needles, and cupping therapy are also applied.
