Members of the Kabas team have performed over 2000 fireworks displays at various events over the past 40 years, numerous special effects in 78 films, including 12 co-productions, and in over 3000 commercials and music videos, various stage effects in over 500 theater performances and at over 3000 concerts. Members are part of the Association of Film Workers of Serbia.
Since 1975, they have been performing fireworks and special effects at concerts of the most famous local performers such as: Bajaga i Instruktori, Bijelo Dugme, Riblja Čorba, Lepa Brena, Svetlana Ceca Ražnatović, Zdravko Čolić, and many others...
They supervised special and stage effects at the Metallica concert in Belgrade in 2006 and at the concert of The Rolling Stones in Belgrade in 2008. Since 1980, they have been working on pyrotechnic and special effects in commercials and music videos.
Since 1990, they have been performing fireworks effects at various events - New Year's celebrations in various Serbian cities (fireworks at the Temple of Saint Sava and Republic Square, fire falls from Branko's Bridge), anniversaries, and other important dates of many foreign and domestic companies in Serbia, at numerous sports events and matches (FINA cup, tenth anniversary of Red Star Belgrade's Champions League title), as well as at various family celebrations.
They are one of the few professionally trained individuals involved in film special effects and stage pyrotechnics.
They have established close cooperation with stunt performers from Serbia, performing unseen scenes that sometimes take your breath away. In such situations, there is no room for the smallest mistake! At the stunt and pyrotechnic competition in Moscow, they won the first prize, their "Prometheus".
Kabas has worked with numerous foreign film directors and actors, the most popular being Harvey Keitel, and with our directors with whom he collaborated, we can mention Dejan Zečević, Goran Marković, Đorđe Karanović, Goran Paskaljević... He worked with Kusturica on "Life is a Miracle". From theater directors, he had a successful collaboration with Nikita Milivojević, Kokan Mladenović, Dejan Mijač...
For many years, Kabas's team has been performing New Year's Eve fireworks in Belgrade from three locations: from the City Assembly, from the House of Trade Unions, from the House of the Serbian Army, and they also worked next to the Federal Assembly. For the last four years, they have been doing the "New Year's Grand Parade" and enhancing the scene of the Zvezde Granda competition!
It all started with the first pyrotechnician of old Yugoslavia - Dušan Živković, from whom Kabas learned the secrets of this profession, perfected them over the years, and today is considered a leader in this business!
