Lion ltd. company was founded in 1990. At the start of 1991 we were the first to become a registered large drug store and in 1994 we became the first ophtalmology clinic in Serbia.
Lion ltd was the first importer of hearing aides and contact lenses in the former SFRJ and after that for a long number of years we've worked in importing frames and lenses for glasses, hearing aides, contact lenses, sollutions for maintaining lenses and other products for the needs of private and institutional optics houses, drug stores and pharmacies.
Permanently focused on importing medical supplies we have significantly contributed to the development of the contact lenses market in Serbia, both by educating large number of ophtalmologists as well as raising public awareness about the culture of using and maintaining soft contact lenses. From the end of 1990 to March 2001 as agents of Ciba Vision and the end of 2003 LION ltd is the agent of Occular Sciences which is today working in the CooperVision. As of July 2000 we have also opened the Optics store YES.
