Psychiatric Clinic "Dr Selaković" specializes in working with children with various forms of neurodevelopmental disorders (autism, developmental dysphasia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder...) from the earliest ages. In addition, the clinic provides support in learning for children who have difficulties mastering school material. It conducts treatment for dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia in school-aged children, and also has a professional team to provide adequate psychological and psychiatric support, as well as psychotherapy for children in puberty and adolescents.

Our main activities include the diagnosis and rehabilitation of children with developmental disorders. Diagnosis is performed by a specialist doctor, and rehabilitation services are provided by special education teachers, speech therapists, and psychologists specialized in early interventions and working with children from the autism spectrum, mixed developmental disorders, developmental dysphasia, behavioral problems, attention disorders, and the presence of various genetic syndromes.

In addition, the clinic implements programs aimed at developing social skills in children from the autism spectrum, as well as in children with other difficulties where necessary, through music workshops, physical education, and social skills development workshops.

Special attention is given to parents, including their involvement in the rehabilitation process, education for working at home, and providing psychological and psychotherapeutic support when needed.

In addition to the aforementioned methods and rehabilitation procedures, we also deal with recognizing and treating associated conditions of neurodevelopmental disorders such as neurological disorders, gastrointestinal problems, allergies, and food intolerances. It has been concluded that gastrointestinal problems can affect the occurrence of sleep problems, sensory dysfunction, impulsive, aggressive behavior. Timely recognition and treatment of these associated conditions lead to improvements in the clinical picture, thus facilitating and accelerating the child's progress.
