Nova Avala began operating in early June, led by a veteran of Belgrade’s culinary scene. All the traditional flavors and delicacies that guests have come to expect from Avalica remain on the menu, now under the signature of Stambol Geštamov. Heading the entire team is the renowned Belgrade restaurateur Vojin Nikitović.
In addition to signature dishes like tripe stew and the well-loved sweetbreads, the menu now features veal and lamb prepared under a sač, along with several varieties of homemade bread baked in the same traditional way.
The restaurant has been refreshed and renovated, but everything else remains the same—just as guests have cherished since its opening in 1945.
