1. How did you come up with the idea to start your own business and at what point?
My husband was already into it, and by circumstances, I continued with this job.
2. Have you always wanted to be involved in your current business?
No, not at all.
3. What are you proud of in your business?
I take pride in the quality of work, precision, meeting deadlines, and always striving to honor every agreement.
4. How understanding has your environment been, and who has been your biggest support?
I didn't have understanding or support. I mostly did everything on my own.
5. What did you have to give up?
Free time because it's a round-the-clock job.
6. What drove you forward, and how did you stay motivated during tough times?
I simply had those life-changing moments at the beginning. Bad things have to pass for better times to come. I was motivated by my kids; I have three of them.
7. Why is it better for a woman to be an entrepreneur than to work for a company?
I've always been an entrepreneur, never worked for other companies.
8. What advice would you give to new female entrepreneurs or a younger version of yourself?
To be persistent and determined in what they want, to stay informed, and to make use of all the benefits the government provides. It seems easier now than before.
9. On a scale of 1-10, how challenging is it to be a female entrepreneur in Serbia (or in a "male-dominated" field)?
It's challenging, but maybe around an eight.
11. Where do you see yourself exactly in 5 years?
I hope my kids will take over the business.
