This unofficial name belongs to the three skyscrapers in Zvezdara. The official name of the building complex is “Rudo”, after the Bosnian city. Located near the highway, the skyscrapers are very visible and recognizable to the vehicles approaching Belgrade, which is how they got their unofficial status as the “gates of Belgrade” for the travelers arriving from the east. The three skyscrapers are each a 100m tall, have 28 stories and are facing each other. They are connected by a plateau and a playground in the middle. Partial facade for the buildings was done in 2004 and their interiors are also in excellent condition thanks to the efforts of their building committee.
