Metaphysica Bookstore

Metaphysica Bookstore was established in 2002 in Belgrade as a branch of the publishing and bookselling enterprise Nova Metafizika International LLC, and it has a clearly defined character.

In terms of publishing, from a technical aspect, we nurture the classic way of publishing books by engaging in offset, digital, and letterpress printing on quality materials. Additionally, we are moving towards adopting modern technologies, such as publishing books on DVD-ROM, eBooks, and similar formats.

However, what makes us unique in this part of the world is the following: any book lover, from Macedonia to Slovenia, as well as in the diaspora worldwide, who wishes to read a significant work in the field of hermetic philosophy will know to look for it in the Agarta library. The same goes for ancient spiritual teachings, art, poetry, religion, and science. In short, anything that bears the prefix of spirituality and high art corresponds with the publications of our publishing house.

Our bookstore is located in the old core of Belgrade, in Dorćol, a part of the city where the ancient tradition of its magnificent past is preserved. By offering both old and new books, our bookstore connects bygone eras with the spirit of modern times. Here, elderly book lovers meet young enthusiasts who believe they are destined to uncover the eternal mystery of the world. In pleasant conversations, accompanied by the tones of ambient, ethno, or spiritual music, the fabric of the Great Tradition is woven, hidden behind the encrypted meaning of the spoken word. Here, young, unconfirmed writers also meet, who have something to say but do not get the right opportunity with major publishing houses. With experienced advice and practical instructions, we prepare, design, and print their first book in our workshop, trembling with energy to captivate readers. Our production unit is called MondoPres Graphic Workshop, where we provide editorial consulting, proofreading, computer preparation, artistic and graphic design, digital and offset printing, as well as book distribution into the bookstore and library network of Serbia.
