Kalemegdanska Terasa Restaurant is located in the most beautiful part of Belgrade, within Kalemegdan, blending perfectly with the fortress’s ambiance. Few great nations would not find traces of their past here… after countless battles, destruction, and rebuilds, from Roman Singidunum to the powerful Ottoman gateway to the Balkans. In the 15th century, this was the capital of medieval Serbia. Between the two World Wars, it took on its current form and purpose, with a promenade, military museum, art pavilion, zoo, and the city’s most beautiful terrace – Kalemegdanska Terasa. Since its founding in the 1930s, this restaurant has remained dedicated to hospitality.
In addition to an “à la carte” fine dining menu, the restaurant is known for organizing high-level corporate events and weddings. It’s a place where you can receive an “all-inclusive” wedding service—from a church ceremony just a minute from our location, to a welcome cocktail on the lower terrace, to the full organization of wedding festivities.
The restaurant offers a spectacular view of the city and river, with sunsets at Kalemegdanska Terasa glowing in unique colors. Originally named the “City Restaurant – Belgrade” in the 1930s, it carries a legacy. Serbian cuisine, influenced by the many peoples who passed through and lived here, is enriched by European dishes rooted in Mediterranean tradition. Our sommeliers are here to guide you in pairing food and wine for the perfect experience.
The restaurant has 220 seats, with additional seating on the outdoor terrace.
