Below is a summary of the services offered by the institute, which are performed by a professional staff in accordance with relevant standards, quality policies, and international recognition.
1. Inspection Body Accredited to SRPS ISO/IEC 17020:2012, Type A, Offers Services:
- Inspection in the field of pressure equipment (pressure vessels, flame or otherwise heated pressure equipment, pipelines, safety and auxiliary devices);
- Inspection in the field of mobile pressure equipment (pressure vessels, their valves, and necessary equipment);
- Qualification of welding and brazing technology - WPQR/BPQR;
- Inspection of gas pipelines, steel structures, parts of thermal power plants;
- Inspection in other areas (oil and petroleum product storage tanks, iron and steel products, copper and copper alloy products, arc welding devices, welding works, inspection methods with and without destruction);
- Inspection in the field of pre-insulated multilayer pipe systems for district heating.
In line with market demands and the enactment of new regulations for pressure equipment, Zavod za Zavarivanje is in the final process of being designated by the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia for the following tasks:
- Inspection and testing of pressure equipment during its lifetime and classification of pressure equipment in accordance with the Regulation on the Inspection of Pressure Equipment during its Lifetime ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", No. 114/21); and
- Approval of procedures for permanent joints in accordance with the Regulation on Pressure Equipment ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", No. 114/21) Annex I, point 3.1.2.
Zavod za Zavarivanje is also a Notified Body for conformity assessment of mobile pressure equipment in accordance with the Law on the Transport of Dangerous Goods ("Official Gazette of the RS", No. 104/16, 83/18, 95/2018 - another law and 10/2019 - another law) and the Regulation on Mobile Pressure Equipment ("Official Gazette of the RS", No. 120/2017).
Designation as a body for conformity assessment of mobile pressure equipment covers inspection of mobile pressure equipment according to Chapter 6.2.-6.2.4 ADR (International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road).
2. Laboratory of Zavod za Zavarivanje, Accredited to SRPS ISO/IEC 17025:2017, Conducts Testing of Welded Joints, Metal Materials, and Thermoplastic Materials, Using:

Since 2017, the institute has offered testing using computed radiography (CR), which is a digital replacement for conventional industrial radiography and provides several advantages in material and equipment radiographic testing (portability and the ability to quickly obtain radiographic images in the field, software support for the analysis of radiograms and evaluation of indications).

2.5. CHEMICAL TESTING
- Optical emission spectrometry (Spark-OES) - Quantitative chemical analysis of cast iron, low-alloy, and high-alloy steels, in accordance with the requirements of standard methods according to ASTM and equipment manufacturer instructions
- Quantitative and qualitative chemical analysis of metal materials using X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF)
2.6. GEOMECHANICAL SOIL TESTING
- Deformation measurement using a portable impulse plate
3. Zavod za Zavarivanje - ZAVOD-CERTPERS is an accredited certification body for the certification of persons in accordance with the requirements of SRPS ISO/IEC 17024:

3.2. CERTIFICATION OF PERSONS FOR NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING, according to SRPS EN ISO 9712.
3.3. CERTIFICATION OF WELDING INSTRUCTORS AND SPECIALIST WELDING INSTRUCTORS, according to the certification scheme PR-CEP-09.
3.4. CERTIFICATION OF INSTALLERS OF HEAT-SHRINKABLE JOINTS, according to SRPS EN 489 and PR-CEP-19.
4. The Institute has a separate Education and Training Sector that conducts:
4.1. Training of personnel for non-destructive testing in accordance with SRPS EN ISO 9712:

4.2. Courses for internationally recognized diplomas in accordance with the rules of the International Institute of Welding (IIW):

4.3. Training and qualification of exposed workers and persons responsible for implementing radiation safety measures in industrial radiography, authorized by the Directorate for Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security of Serbia.
5. Zavod za Zavarivanje - ZAVOD-CERT is the only Authorized National Body for the Certification of Companies (ANBCC) in Serbia, at the national level, on behalf of the International Institute of Welding (IIW), implementing the IIW scheme for the certification of quality management in welding according to the standards EN ISO 3834.
A company obtains the quality management in welding certificate after satisfactory assessment by qualified ZAVOD-CERT assessors on meeting the requirements of the standard EN ISO 3834 (part 2, 3, or 4).
6. REPAIR WELDING
Repair welding is a complex technological discipline that requires specific knowledge and skills. The services of the institute's repair center include the repair and rehabilitation of:
- Welding repair of worn or damaged parts of equipment, tools, etc.;
- Surfacing and related processes are applied in the production of new parts of equipment, devices, and tools by applying relatively thin layers of material with high wear resistance, only on surfaces exposed to intense wear, and from materials of significantly lower cost;
- Preventive surfacing or repair welding and related processes to increase the lifespan of parts that are still in operation, especially on vital parts of equipment, devices, and tools.
- Welding of pipelines, various materials with certified welders.
